ALAS The Parapod is Here!

The Solution To The Most Common Problem in Model Aviation.

Since the hobby started people have been sceptical to make a start in this area, due to their lack of confidence in modern recovery systems people have always asked the question of whether or not they wil crash their model aircraft. Well you can still ask the question, but this time concider this imagine you have lost control of your aircraft and a crash is looking pretty immenant, what do you do?

The Problem Solver
This is the 'Parapod'. Yes the first modern model aircraft recovery system that simply can't fail. In the past firms have come up with numerous, complicated and unsuccesfull systems, but now I give you the only system that can't fail.

This is a pod, this sits on the top of your wings, over the fuselage, after securing this with nothing more than elastic bands it can save you hundreds of 's or$'s.

How it Works.
This uses the most basic mechanics, a standard sized servo. Using the channel on your transmitter which is usually used for retracting the landing gear, you release the top section of the pod which, in turn, relases a parachute. Then the whole aircraft will come to a complete halt in the air and will decend to Earth at a speed that will not cause any harm to the aircraft.

Its that simple!

The system is of little cost in comparison to that of transforming a plane, engine, and radio system into a heap in a crater in the flying field.

Over 120 tests of this system have been made and every single test has proved to be a success.

System requirements:

1) A spare channel on your transmitter.
(preferably either a toggle channel)

2) One standard servo.

3) A high-wing configuration with dowls.

The cost is as follows:

The Basic Pod = 23
(not including servo & parachute)

The Full Del Montey = 63
(all incuded ready for banding to the plane)

Cheques only!
